Super Shang Hai Dragon's Eye - English translation
---------------------------------

For MSX2 and higher.

List of changes:

- Full translation of all texts in the game.
- Removed the requirement for Kanji-rom/ JIS ROM
- Translated layout filenames and filenames for tilesets
- Added instructions on how to play this game in turbo mode

How to play this game in turbo mode:
Option 1: copy all files to an MSX DOS2 formatted disk with MSXDOS2.SYS and COMMAND2.com on it. On a Turbo R this will allow you to automatically play in R800 mode.

Option 2: copy all files to a directory on your harddisk or other mass storage device. Use your tool of choice to start the turbo mode (for instance: turbo.com or cpu.com). Then start the game by typing shanghai.

Option 3: open SSHTURBO.ZIP and copy all files to the disk of your translated version of Super Shang Hai Dragon's Eye. You need to overwrite msxdos.sys.

Patching file based software, especially when many files
need to be patched, can be a pain if you need to apply each
patch separately. Also the requirement to release a lot of
loose patch files for this purpose isn't really a good idea
from a user's point of view. For this the MIA format was
created. MIA stands for Multi IPS Archive and puts all
               patches in a single file.

SSHTURBO.ZIP All the necessary files to play the game in turbo mode if your MSX supports that.

SSHDE-EN.TXT - This text file.

SSHDE-EN.MIA and SSHDE-EN.TXT are the minimum required redistributable files
for the translation.
